What is Q Robusta Grader?
Robusta Q System is a 2010 certification of coffee quality certification launched by CQI in collaboration with the Uganda Coffee Development Authority (UCDA). In 2019, CQI released the Fine Robusta Standards and Protocles, Robusta coffee is native to Uganda, and UCDA and CQI want to improve Robusta quality and train coffee professionals to promote good Robusta coffee standards.
Q When will the Gader certificate be calibrated?
Q certificate needs to be corrected every 3 years to keep the certificate valid. After passing the Q calibration test, a new Q certificate will be issued. (The calibration examination must be completed within 1 month 6 months before or after the expiration of the certificate.) Unless agreed to in writing by CQI, Q Grader cannot advance or delay the participation in the Q Correction Exam course to the extent permitted. ）
What is CQI Certification?
CQI (Coffee Quality Institute) stands for Coffee Quality Institute. In 1996, the SCA established a committee to address the issue of coffee quality and farmer income, which later became the Specialty Coffee Institute, and finally became the current CQI independent of the SCA, and the two organizations still work very closely together.
CQI has developed a set of appraiser certification, and the Q Program developed by CQI is a training system designed to evaluate the quality of coffee, and after passing the courses and exams designed by CQI, you can become a Q Grader.
